Operating system and control of installations for Iberdrola buildings

Iberdrola, one of the leading energy companies in Spain and the world, has contracted imesAPI to develop a monitoring and energy efficiency system for all its buildings. The project covers all its buildings worldwide.

The project focuses mainly on:

• Monitoring all the assets of the company within a single platform, carrying out some actions on the building itself (in lighting and air conditioning).
• Checking the energy efficiency of each of them and thus taking the necessary measures to rationalize their consumption.

With this tool, the company will certify some of the buildings according to ISO 50.001. The chosen platform is Wonderware IAS 2014, with its Business Intelligence technology to manage the amount of data recorded and automate the reports needed for the analysis.

Field devices in buildings include Schneider Electric (TAC Vista), Trend Controls and Johnson & Controls.
